Meet Dr. Ashley Davis-Staten, the Heart and Mind Behind Novana Naturals
Dr. Ashley Davis-Staten, DACM, LAc, DiplOM, is more than a founder—she’s a formulator, healer, scientist, and mother who has dedicated her life to integrative health and wellness. With a rare blend of biomedical expertise and deep roots in traditional healing, Dr. Davis brings a unique vision to clean body care—one that merges the best of both worlds.
She began her journey by earning her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, graduating magna cum laude. Her academic excellence led to a full fellowship and additional funding to pursue her doctorate degree, where she completed advanced coursework in biomedical neuroscience and conducted research on neurodegenerative disease.
But her calling extended beyond the laboratory. Driven by a passion for holistic healing and natural living, she shifted her focus to traditional medicine, earning both her master’s and doctorate degrees in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
With a career spanning over 15 years of studying and working with the human body—both scientifically and holistically—Dr. Davis has helped hundreds of clients heal through her private practice. But when she saw how many personal care products were failing people—packed with toxins, greenwashed labels, and wasteful packaging—she knew it was time to create something better.
And so, Novana Naturals was born—an uncompromising line of high-performance, plastic-free, truly natural body care designed to actually work, without harming people or the planet.
